Chabad-Lubavitch Emissaries
NEW YORK, NY—On Thursday, FBI Assistant Director in Charge (ADIC) Joseph Demarest met with a group of Chabad-Lubavitch Emissaries from around the globe, who have gathered in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn for their annual conference. In emphasizing the FBI’s ability to work very closely with partners from national and international law enforcement, intelligence agencies, corporations and community organizations, he said: “In today’s increasingly interconnected world, collaboration between law enforcement and community organizations is essential to protect the world against those intent to disrupt our peace. We are proud of the strong relationships we have built over the years and we will continue to do everything we can to strengthen them even more. I am honored to have such distinguished Chabad-Lubavich leaders as Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky and Rabbi Mendel Sharfstein among our friends, and we are thankful to Devorah Halberstam for her tireless efforts to bring us all together.”
