Assistant Director in Charge:
Mark J. Mershon
FBI New
York is responsible for conducting criminal and counterintelligence
investigations within the five boroughs of New York City and the counties
of Dutchess, Nassau, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Suffolk, Sullivan, and
Westchester.
You may provide
information to the New York Field Office by sending e-mail to ny1@ic.fbi.gov.
If possible, please include your address and telephone number
in addition to your e-mail address. Due to the high volume of
mail we receive, we cannot respond to all messages.
If
the information you wish to provide pertains to an emergency
situation, please contact us at (212) 384-1000. Although we
check our e-mail frequently, we do not consider it to be an
alternative to telephonic contact in emergency situations.
Please place
all the information you wish to include in the body of the message.
We ask that at least, initially, you do not include attachments
because varying file types, encoding/compression schemes, and
operating systems sometimes makes viewing them difficult.
CYBER CRIME: If you have been a victim of a crime that occurred
on the Internet, please do not E-Mail the FBI New York. You may
file a complaint with the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3)
at www.ic3.gov. If your complaint requires an immediate response,
please call local law enforcement or the FBI New York Office at
(212)384-1000.
If you have a
complaint that does not occur in the counties covered by the New
York Field Office, please review the list of other FBI
field offices.
